These fab knitted pants & cardy are knitted by Nanny Carol...I love both & would love knitted leggings for myself like this!

Lake Ontario on a sunny winter's day

After taking a huge walk to our local hospital for a check up and taking my mum through high park, we walked down to Lake Ontario....It look's like it was a lovely sunny day so I left the gloves at home but it was absolutely freezing. I have to say this little guy above (Highland Cattle) is just so adorable & I wanted to take him home! I just think he is so cute & is like a big teddy bear.

Starbucks treat...

With a Starbucks across the road we are regular customers and my mum came back with this delightful cupcake & my favourite Caramel Macchiato x

Winter Walk in High Park

Faux Green & Cream...

The best thing I've done re: (decor wise) lately was invested in some fake flowers! Normally I would be all for fresh flowers however lately with the birth of Isabella I received lots of beautiful bunches of flowers & was so sad to see them wilt so quickly with the heating on daily....so one day while passing one of my favourite shops http://www.write-impressions.ca/ I noticed these hydrangeas in the window & loved them! I have a thing about cream & green at the moment..Anyway the flowers are fab & just so pretty on the dining room table. I also purchased Faux apples that look & feel so realistic & go really well with the green/cream theme...

Another great purchase from http://www.write-impressions.ca/ This vintage map of Italy so loving this shop..

Nanny Carol arrives to meet Baby Isabella....

My super warm two in one hat which converts into a scarf! Thanks mum I love it & as you can she below she is in the process of making me a second....The red one is made from Alpaca wool & is knitted double so is extra warm for these Brisk  Canadian days we are having.

My mum arrived two days after the birth of Isabella..Its been so wonderful having her here & I'm so lucky with all her help since we have no other family in Canada she made the trip from Australia to help out & meet her new delightful grand daughter. Its so lovely just relaxing at home & listening to French Music...sipping Vanilla coffees...taking fabulous pics of Isabella and enjoying mums company while she is knitting  amazing scarves & hats for these crazy winter storms we are having...she has adjusted to the winter temps considering she left Australian temps in mid summer of 38 degrees and has come to - 15!! temps.....and has her first ever snow boots and snow jacket.
