Cork Ireland holiday June 2010
In June we returned to Cork Ireland for two weeks of happy times catching up with my husbands family, celebrating a friend's wedding, sharing the news that we are expecting our first baby & a second celebration for our wedding for people that could not make the trip to Australia in January.
It was such an action packed two weeks, gorgeous warm weather for the whole time, sharing cherished memories with special friends & family & of course we got to have all the favourite foods we were missing..Barry's Tea...Ballymalloe Relish..Clonakilty black pudding...whispa chocolate bars....corned beef & cabbage...just to name a few!
Previously a Mental hospital this beautiful gothic style building is the longest in Ireland & is now apartments

Blooming of the Sakura Trees High Park Toronto
In 1959 the Japanese ambassador to Canada Toru-Hagiwara presented 2000 Japanese Somei-Yoshino
Sakura trees to the citizens of Toronto on behalf of citizens of Tokyo. The trees were planted in appreciation of Toronto accepting re-located Japanese-Canadians following the Second World War.
This is our local park and so lucky to have this in our neighbourhood 398 acres of land, gardens, ponds, sporting facilities, cafe, museum, and even has a zoo! I love it and its one of my favourite places to visit in Toronto.
